Quick Answer: There are many different Reiki systems, and I am not here to tell you that mine is better than anybody else’s. I believe each student seeks the Master who is right for them, and every Master attracts certain students. That said, I absolutely love the Mohr Method of Healing Reiki Training System because it is complete. I have been teaching and developing this system for more than 30 years, and it combines Usui Reiki with energy protection, the Law of Attraction, energy hygiene, and psychic development. Nothing needs to be added to make it whole.

“Lisa, Which Reiki System Should I Take?”
Over the years, I have had many students ask me:
Which Reiki system is the best?
How do I know which one to choose?
Recently, one of my students came to me with a new visualization technique, some new symbols, and other things that had come through to him.
We had a conversation about it, and I thought:
I want to share this with the world.
Because there are a lot of Reiki systems out there.
More and more and more of them.
And I continually hear people say:
“I tried this Reiki.”
“I tried that Reiki.”
“I took a Reiki course and it left me completely confused.”
Or they come away believing that they somehow don't have the ability to channel Reiki.
That they aren't gifted enough.
That they aren't one of the chosen ones.
I don't believe that.

There Are Billions of People on This Planet
There are billions of people here.
We need lightworkers all over the place.
I am not here to tell you that the Mohr Method of Healing is better than every other Reiki system.
I believe each student seeks the Master who is right for them.
And every Master attracts particular students.
That said...
I love my system.
I really, really love it.

My Reiki System Is Complete
I love the Mohr Method of Healing because it is complete.
I've been doing this for more than 30 years.
The system has eight trainings.
Four student manuals.
Four instructor manuals.
And currently three published books.
At some point, I will publish the Reiki Mastership book as well, but everything is already there within the Instructor Manual.
It is a complete system.
I wouldn't change a thing.
And I don't believe anything needs to be added to make it complete.

My Foundation Is Usui Reiki
My Reiki foundation is Usui Reiki.
I love it.
I use the Usui symbols that I was trained with.
I use:
Cho Ku Rei
Sei He Ki
Dai Ko Myo
Those are symbols I know extremely well.
They're symbols I use.
They're symbols I trust.
There are many other Reiki systems with additional symbols.
There is Karuna Reiki.
There are symbols and imagery throughout religions and spiritual traditions all over the world.
And symbols are what we give them.
They are transferable pathways that hold frequency and power.
But I am an expert in the Usui symbols that I have spent decades working with.

Your Reiki Practice May Naturally Evolve
It is completely normal for one of my students to develop in another direction later.
They may be drawn to another modality.
They may receive a visualization.
They may begin seeing something intuitively.
They may feel guided to work differently.
That's normal.
I have taught so many students over the years, and I have never seen two people conduct a Reiki treatment exactly the same way.
That should tell you something.
You are going to bring yourself into the Reiki treatment.

I Teach Structure and Intuition
Within my system, I teach organized Reiki hand positions.
I teach scanning.
And I teach intuition.
Meaning:
Go where you think the Reiki needs to go.
Because the beautiful thing about Reiki is that:
Reiki is a self-guiding force.
I think people can sometimes become too structured and controlling with Reiki.
Yes, when I teach channeling, we begin by seeing and feeling the Reiki coming through the top of the head, down the body, down to the core of the Earth.
Then from the core of the Earth, back up the body, out the top of the head like a fountain, out the right hand and in the left.
But Reiki is coming through both hands.
Reiki is flowing.
Reiki is doing its thing all the time.

Different Methods Can Still Work
There are other modalities that teach Reiki a little differently.
Maybe they bring the Reiki in and build it within the solar plexus before channeling it through the hands.
Great.
If it's working, that's great.
Reiki is a self-guiding force.
It transfers time and space.
This is why I believe Reiki can work with the past, present, and even the future.
It is also why I perform virtual Attunements.
My students experience them through my recorded online trainings.
They tell me:
“I could feel it.”
“I started crying.”
“I saw something.”
“I had a vision.”
“It was amazing.”
And my response is:
Of course you could feel it.
Reiki transfers space and time.

But I Took Reiki Further
This is where the Mohr Method of Healing becomes my system.
The Reiki foundation is Usui Reiki.
Love it.
Great.
But traditional Usui Reiki does not include everything that I teach.
So I added what I learned was necessary through decades of doing this work.
The first major piece was:
Energy protection.

Energy Protection Is Paramount in Healing Work
Energy protection is not traditionally part of Usui Reiki.
Usui Reiki teaches Reiki.
Hand positions.
Symbols.
Channeling.
Wonderful.
But as I continued doing healing work, I learned that I needed an energetic barrier between myself and the person receiving Reiki.
I did not want to pick up what they had.
And I did not want them picking up what I had.
So I teach Bubble Up.
I sometimes compare this to an operation.
The surgeon and medical staff wear masks and gloves because we don't want physical germ transference.
In energy work, I don't want unnecessary energetic or attachment transference either.
So we create that protective energetic boundary.
You can still feel.
You can still sense.
You can still receive intuitive information.
But you are protected.
This is something I work very hard to teach my students from the beginning.

Then I Added the Law of Attraction
After Reiki and energy protection, we move into the Law of Attraction.
Why?
Because I don't want you to think Reiki is something you only use during a treatment.
I want you using it throughout your entire life.
You're working with frequency.
You are increasing your frequency throughout the day.
And when your frequency changes, your attraction point changes.
Maybe you find perfect flow in traffic.
Maybe you receive a raise or promotion.
Maybe somebody opens the door for you.
Maybe you have one of those wonderful, soulful conversations with someone at the bank.
You leave thinking:
That felt amazing.
Then later that evening, you find yourself reflecting on how rich that little energy exchange felt.
That is Reiki and the Law of Attraction working together.

Then We Go Deeper Into Energy Hygiene
Next comes energy hygiene.
This is where you begin learning how to work with the energetic environment around you.
You can clean the energy in your home.
Your workplace.
The road you're driving on.
Your favorite walking trail.
A family event.
Maybe there's a family gathering that historically becomes caustic or chaotic.
Clean the energy.
Instead of simply walking into an environment and absorbing whatever is there, you begin learning that you can actually work with the frequency of the space.
That gives you power.

Then Psychic Development Begins to Emerge Naturally
From there, we move into psychic development.
How do you begin predicting the future?
How do you sense something in a room that isn't serving you?
How do you identify it?
How do you remove it?
How do you begin trusting your instincts?
Should I go on that date?
Should I call that person back?
Should I take that job opportunity?
When should I leave my house?
Should I bring this object with me?
I joke about the sentence:
“I looked right at it, but I didn't grab it.”
My students start grabbing it.
They receive the inspired action.
They notice what their intuition is telling them.
Maybe an old girlfriend suddenly comes onto your radar.
You haven't talked to her in ages.
Something tells you:
Call her.
So you do.
And sure enough, she's having an awful day and is incredibly grateful that you reached out.
That is intuitive living.

It isn't Reiki only during a treatment.

Your Frequency Is Always Broadcasting
The Law of Attraction is frequency.
What you think.
What you feel.
What you are.
You're broadcasting that frequency out into the world.
And then, like a boomerang, that energy comes back to you.
This is where energy hygiene becomes so important.
Imagine sending out this beautiful, happy frequency.
Then your own frequency drops.
The boomerang comes back...
And you aren't aligned with it anymore.
You miss it.
Energy hygiene helps you maintain that higher frequency so that when the energy you sent outward returns, you are still in alignment with it.
And from all of this...
Psychic development begins to happen naturally.

There are tens of thousands of Reiki Masters in the world.
They all have different perspectives.
Different tools.
Different ways of teaching.
