Fear Blasting: When Fear Transfers From One Person to Another

Quick Answer: Fear can be more than an emotion. In my experience, fear can also be an energetic attachment. It can attach to one person, feed on their fear, take their energy, and then transfer to another person through an energetic interaction. If that fear remains in your field, it can weaken your aura and make you vulnerable to even more attachments. The good news is that once you recognize what is happening, you can break the connection, remove the attachment, clean your energy, repair your aura, and return to your own frequency.

When Someone Else’s Fear Suddenly Becomes Your Problem

I recently had an experience with an old and dear client that was such a clear example of how fear can transfer from one person to another.

He had become deeply afraid.

And I don't mean mildly worried.

He was cycling through some of the most epic worst-case scenarios imaginable—survival fears, catastrophic possibilities, and everything that could potentially go wrong.

The energy of the fear was incredibly strong.

And then that fear came directly at me.

Calm Doesn't Mean You Don't Care

Because I remained calm and neutral, he initially interpreted my response as indifference.

But that couldn't have been further from the truth.

My neutrality is part of my practice.

It allows me to stay outside of someone else's emotional tornado long enough to determine what is actually happening.

When someone is frightened, you don't have to become frightened with them in order to care about them.

In fact, becoming part of their fear may make it harder for you to help.

When I'm coaching someone who is highly emotional, I try to follow a very specific process:

Validate.

Clarify by asking questions.

Validate again.

Then offer perspective.

I don't immediately argue with someone's fear or tell them why they're wrong.

First, I want to understand what they're experiencing.

Then I can offer perspective from outside the fear instead of becoming part of it.

I reminded my client of this.

You hire me to be the calm in the storm.

Then I Realized: This Fear Wasn't Originally His

As we continued talking, I started looking more closely at what I was feeling from him.

Something wasn't adding up.

So I asked him:

“Have you been around someone lately who has been carrying a lot of fear?”

He immediately named someone we both knew.

I'll call him John.

John is a really nice guy and has quite a bit of energetic training.

But recently, he had fallen into an enormous amount of fear.

Think:

Chicken Little—the sky is falling.

That kind of fear.

Suddenly, everything clicked.

My client had picked up a fear attachment from John.

The fear had transferred.

Fear Attachments Take Your Energy

This is an important part of understanding what was happening.

Fear attachments don't simply sit there.

They take your energy.

The attachment can feed on the fear while simultaneously draining the person carrying it.

As the person's energy becomes depleted, their aura can become increasingly vulnerable.

And vulnerability can attract even more attachments.

The pattern can become:

Fear → attachment → energy drain → weakened aura → vulnerability → more attachments → more fear → greater energy drain.

This is why recognizing the pattern early is so important.

You don't want to keep feeding something that is taking your energy.

Fear Can Change the Way You Think

Once fear gets into your field, it doesn't necessarily feel like:

“I picked up someone else's fear.”

It can simply feel like your reality.

Suddenly the worst-case scenario seems completely reasonable.

You may become anxious.

Panicked.

Irritable.

Defensive.

Angry.

Suspicious.

Or convinced that something terrible is about to happen.

You may hear things another person never actually said.

You may assume the worst about someone you normally trust.

And you may lash out at the very people who are trying to help you.

That's one of the reasons fear attachments can be so disruptive.

Dark Forces Seek Separation

From what I see energetically, dark forces frequently use fear to create separation.

They emphasize:

How different you are.

How nobody understands you.

How you're alone.

How everyone else is against you.

And then people begin fighting with the people closest to them.

Relationships fracture.

Support systems disappear.

The person becomes more isolated.

And now there is even more fear to feed on.

Separation creates vulnerability, and vulnerability can attract more attachments.

Once you understand the pattern, you can interrupt it.

Fear Can Transfer From Person to Person

This experience was such a clear example.

John was carrying enormous fear.

My client spent time with John.

My client picked up the fear attachment.

The attachment began taking his energy and amplifying the fear moving through him.

Then my client interacted with me and blasted that fear energy directly at me.

So the energetic progression was:

John → my client → me.

This is fear transference.

And if I hadn't recognized what was happening and cleaned myself afterward, I could have continued carrying that energy too.

Then perhaps I would have transferred it to someone else.

That's how these things can spread.

Once We Identified Where It Came From, the Fear Broke

This was the most remarkable part of the entire experience.

Once I realized something wasn't adding up, I asked my client:

“Have you been around someone lately who has been carrying a lot of fear?”

He immediately named John.

That was it.

The moment he connected the fear to where it had come from, the fear energy broke and then disappeared.

The change was dramatic.

It felt as though a tornado had just passed overhead and suddenly there were peaceful blue skies.

The fear had transferred from John to my client, and then my client had blasted that fear toward me.

But once we recognized where it originated, the attachment lost its hold.

That is why awareness matters so much.

Sometimes recognizing:

This isn't mine. I picked this up from someone else.

can begin breaking the energetic connection.

Then you can clean whatever remains, remove the attachment, repair your field, and make sure you don't carry it forward.

Don't Automatically Assume the Fear Is Yours

This is one of the biggest lessons I want you to take from this.

If you are completely fine and suddenly become overwhelmed by enormous fear, stop for a moment.

Before you accept every frightening thought as your own, ask:

Is this mine?

Who have you been around?

Who have you spoken with?

Has someone close to you been panicked, angry, terrified, depressed, or overwhelmed?

Did your emotional state change after interacting with them?

Do these thoughts even sound like you?

Those questions can give you important information.

Then Use Your Tools

Once you recognize that you've picked something up, don't just sit there analyzing it.

Clean it.

Cut your cords.

Remove the fear attachment.

Clear any additional dark forces or attachments that have entered your field.

Repair the holes or weakened areas in your aura.

Bubble Up.

Use Reiki and your symbols.

Strengthen your field.

Then check yourself again.

How do you feel now?

Sometimes the difference can be extraordinary.

Don't Fight Fear With More Fear

If someone blasts fear at you, you don't need to blast fear back.

You don't need to attack them.

You don't need to prove them wrong.

You don't need to become frightened because they're frightened.

That simply adds more energy to the fear.

Instead, stay in your own space.

Validate.

Clarify by asking questions.

Validate again.

Then offer perspective.

You can love someone without joining their panic.

You can understand their fear without absorbing it.

You can have compassion while still protecting your own energetic field.

Fear Can Transfer—But You Don't Have to Keep It

This is the empowering part.

Someone else's fear attachment can transfer to you.

It can take your energy.

It can weaken your aura.

That vulnerability can attract additional attachments.

And those attachments can affect your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and frequency.

But you don't have to keep any of it.

You can recognize what is happening.

You can identify where the fear originated.

You can break the connection.

You can remove the attachment.

You can clean your energy.

You can repair and strengthen your aura.

And you can return to your own frequency.

That is why I teach Energy Hygiene.

This information isn't meant to make you afraid of other people's energy.

It's meant to teach you what to do with it.

Fear Is Contagious—but So Is Calm

Fear can move from one person to another.

But so can peace.

So can clarity.

So can confidence.

So can love.

When someone else's energy becomes a tornado, you don't have to climb inside the tornado with them.

You can remain the blue sky.

And sometimes, your calmness is exactly what helps another person finally recognize:

Wait. This isn't me.

It's only energy.

It's always energy.

And you can change the energy.

You've got this. 🩷
