What are Your Skills and Passions – Venn DiagramPeople have asked me why I do what I am doing. Why do I have a YouTube channel? Why am I an author? Why am I a motivational speaker? The reason is that there’s this feeling inside of me that’s very big about needing to provide insight for individuals so they can look at the world with utter clarity and love. I know something about the human brain, and I know something about the human heart. That is: whatever we focus on, we create more of.

If you come into this world with the perspective that you’ve been wronged, that short people get the short end of the stick, that people aren’t attracted to them, you will begin to collect evidence to fuel that perspective, and it will spiral and spiral and spiral out of control.

Our brain, our amazing computer, is wired in such a way that the more we think of something, the more we create neuro pathways to support that consciousness, which is really scary. Then we take that to another level when we talk about the Law of Attraction; that everything you think, say, and feel, you create a frequency, and you pulse it out into the world. You start to create and attract other people who look, think, and feel about the world the same way you do. What happens is, irrefutably in your perspective, you believe that the world is a certain way.

That is why I do what I am doing—because there is a way to look at the world with love.  There is a way to look at the world with insight and understanding, but with the world that we live in, it takes conscious daily effort to fight the negative programming, to fight the negative evidence that we do see from time to time that’s painful. It is so easy to fall into a belief that that is the way the world is.

That is not my world. My world is full of love. My world is full of support. Even though there are painful moments, it doesn’t mean that my life is painful. Even though there are challenges, it doesn’t mean that my life is a challenge, because I choose to look at the world with optimism and with love, and that is why I’m here, and that is why we have this channel, and that is why I fight so hard to teach you perspective and love and insight.
