Let me ask you something very personal. Do you have an STD? What's an STD?…
What if our soul’s purpose isn’t about evolving at all? What if our soul’s purpose isn’t the same as another person’s? What if some of us have chosen to live a life to challenge other people’s values by saying and doing hurtful things? What if this results in creating new values and ethics for you? What if pain makes you respect pleasure, healing, safety and love? What if ignorance inspires unconditional love in a way it never existed before? Really savoring the present results from knowing the contrast of an experience (enjoying a quiet lake when you live in a busy city). You could allow yourself to create hateful vibration with the injustices of the world, and dwell on it. OR, you could savor the contrast and be grateful for the YOU that you are becoming by choosing to be the opposite of the pain and hurt in the world that you are seeing.
I’m not saying we should turn a blind eye to the injustices of the world, I’m saying choose your causes wisely. It’s your energy, your health, and your mood. Your vibration affects the rest of the planet. Anger is a slippery slope. All too often, those angry at the injustices of the world become the very souls that cause MORE pain in others. No matter how angry you get about a situation, it won’t change it. But it will change you. And it will change the people who are exposed to you. Anger is contagious. But so is love. Choose your power wisely. Choose to dwell on positive miracles.
The world will NEVER cease to demonstrate haters, pain, and injustices. For the rest of your life, you will have multiple opportunities to respond to the awful things that happen in this world. You might allow yourself to become a hater in response (hating the haters). What will be the next issue you choose to become angry about? There is an ENDLESS list, right now, today. But there is also an endless list of MIRACLES to celebrate. I want to hear more about those..each and every day, for the rest of my life.
Though I may be tempted at times to become angry about the pain in this world, I choose to dwell on the light places instead. It takes discipline, but I know whatever I focus on, I create more of. And I want to create as much love, and light in my world as humanly possible. With this attitude, little by little, we will soften our world, together. I wish for you the most love filled, miracle filled day that you could ever experience! <3
